WNCN volunteers at Carolina Tiger Rescue on MLK Jr. Day of Service

WNCN participated in the United Way of the Greater Triangle's Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service on Jan. 21.

Station volunteers helped Carolina Tiger Rescue, a local 501(c)3 non-profit in Pittsboro.

Carolina Tiger Rescue needed a fire break cleared around their property, so the WNCN volunteers cut and carried brush out of the way.

The group rescues wildcats, provides lifelong sanctuary, educates the public, conducts research and advocates for action to maintain wildcats in sustainable native habitats.
