As part of reconfiguring the cable service's digital channel lineup, Time Warner Cable customers will find WNCN and Antenna TV on new digital channels as of Tuesday, March 11.
TWC customers living in Raleigh, Carrboro, Cary, Durham, Chapel Hill, Youngsville, Wake Forest and Zebulon will find WNCN on channel 1203 beginning March 11. Antenna TV will be found on channel 1245.
The same switch will be made for customers in Fayetteville, Garner, Selma, Goldsboro, Henderson, Bunn, Southern Pines and Wilson at midnight on Thursday, March 13.
The company is changing its lineup to group channels by themes like Entertainment, News & Info, Sports, Music, Kids & Teens and Premiums. On Demand content will be found on channels 1000 and above in categories like Primetime On Demand, Entertainment On Demand, Kids On Demand and Music On Demand.
“Our new, theme-based lineup will make it much simpler and easier for our customers to navigate through the lineup,” said Joe DiMelis, area vice president of operations at Time Warner Cable. “And with the new lineup, customers with an HD box will automatically receive the HD feed of the corresponding standard-definition channel, providing the best picture available.”
There is no change in channels 1 to 99.
