N.C. State alum and “Hangover” star Zack Galifianakis scored a huge interview for his “Between Two Ferns” web show: President Barack Obama.
Galifianakis, a native of Wilkesboro, is known for his bizarre brand of comedy. Off the wall remarks and physical humor often fill other episodes of “Ferns.”
Obama falls right into line with the flow of the show and even takes some jabs at Galifianakis.
“It must stink though that you can't run three times,” Galifianakis says to Obama.
The president quickly responds by saying it's a good thing he can't run again as it doesn't always work out.
“It's be sort of like doing a third 'Hangover' movie,” Obama said. “It didn't workout very well, now did it?”
The episode touches topics such as gay marriage, violence in football and the Affordable Care Act.
“Let's get this out of the way. What did you come here to plug?” Galifianakis says after Obama mentions ACA.
Galifianakis attended but did not graduate from N.C. State where he was a communications major.
