You may have been able to avoid Christmas music up until now, but with Thanksgiving over, the sounds of holiday spirit are sure to fill shopping malls and radio stations across the country.
What is your favorite classic Christmas song? Is it Bing Crosby’s “White Christmas?” Or maybe it’s “Jingle Bells” by Jim Reeves?
Now remember, we’re looking for classic Christmas songs. There’s no question that Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” is a modern classic, but we’re talking about songs written and performed before 1970.
“I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus” is about as modern is you’re going to find on our list.
Take our classic Christmas music poll and let us know what you think is the ultimate classic Christmas song. And if we’re missing one let us know in the comments below! Maybe you think we made a huge mistake by leaving off “Blue Christmas,” “Christmas Time Is Here” or “Little Saint Nick,” or maybe The Drifters’ version of “White Christmas” is far superior to Bing Crosby’s.
