Sweet Potato Soup with honey-Curried cream
Yield- 38 oz
Sweet Potato, mashed- 3Cups
Food Lion Apple Juice- 2 oz
Food Lion Cider vinegar- .5 oz
my essentials Vegetable broth 16oz
Food Lion Ginger, powdered- ¼ tsp
Allspice- 1/8 tsp
Food Lion Cinnamon- ¼ tsp
Salt- ¼ tsp
Black pepper- 1/16 tsp
1) In a sauce pot add mashed sweet potato then the remaining ingredients and bring to a simmer. Cook on a low heat for about 20 minutes to allow all of the flavors to incorporate well.
2) Serve soup warm with a garnish of curried cream.
Variations- Toasted pecans, Chopped herbs and or croutons would be great additional garnishes.

my essentials Sour Cream, fat free – ½ Cup
Food Lion Honey- ½ tsp
Curry powder- ¼ tsp
Black pepper, ground- 1/16 tsp
1) In a bowl, blend all ingredients together well.
2) Place cream in a non-reactive container, cover and refrigerate until needed.
