Data company plans to hire 250 people at new plant in Monroe

A Los Angele company plans to hire 250 people at a new printing and data center in Union County over the next five years.

The Charlotte Observer reported that O’Neil Digital Solutions plans to spend $140 million on the plant in Monroe. The company provides publishing and marketing communications services for many industries.

O’Neil is getting nearly $6 million in state and local incentives.

The average annual salary for the new jobs will be nearly $59,000. The average annual wage in Union County is nearly $39,000.
