Deputies look for info in cold cases near Fayetteville

Fayetteville Market House

Cumberland County deputies are going out into the community to try to get more information about two unsolved homicides.

Deputies will set up at 10 a.m. Friday at a convenience store a few blocks away from where 23-year-old Rodriguez Harris and 19-year-old Terrell Boykin were shot to death in May 2011.

Deputies plan to be at the store for two hours looking for new leads.

Then, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, deputies will be at the corner of two rural roads in Linden, asking people what they know about the March 2014 shooting of Dwayne Sawyer at a nearby home.

Two people were also wounded in that incident.
