Eileen Park joined WNCN News after working as a freelance international correspondent for various international networks.
She has reported all over the world, covering everything from military tensions between North and South Korea, to reporting undercover in Yangon, Myanmar right after Cyclone Nargis.
As a general assignment/special projects reporter and main fill-in anchor for WNCN, Eileen graduated cum laude from DePauw University, with top honors in both communication arts and sciences and in political science. Her college highlight was interviewing former Soviet Leader Mikhail Gorbachev and former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair.
Eileen first began her journalism career with ABC News 20/20 and Primetime in New York City as a freelance production associate. There she worked on double murder trials and investigative consumer stories.
Born in New York City and raised in New Jersey, Eileen also loves traveling, golfing, and reading. During her free time, she enjoys walking her 4-year-old toy poodle rescue Bruce Wayne or catching up on her favorite NPR podcasts (This American Life, Invisibilia, On the Media).
