The NCAA Division II Baseball Championship will be held at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary from May 23-30.
The championship consists of the top eight Division II teams advancing from their respective regions, playing 12-15 games over an eight-day period. Eight regional winners will compete for the National Title.
This is the seventh consecutive year Cary will host the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship, making it the third longest run of any city in the 45-year history of the championship.
“Our citizens and visitors continue to enjoy and support this Championship, providing an increase in attendance each year,” said Chris Duty, Sports Venue Coordinator. “Tickets are a great value, allowing spectators to watch two games each day, and can be purchased as a tournament package or daily. Promotions — including fireworks, kids run the bases, and dollar day — are a big hit with fans.”
Tickets are $12 for an adult and $32 for a Championship Pass and can be purchased at www.etix.com or www.ncaa.com/tickets. Tickets can also be purchased at the National Training Complex prior to each game. Walk-up tickets are $7 for ages 12 and under and for seniors 55+, $7 Wake County and Cary resident tickets and $1 Championship Day tickets for all. Parking is free and seating is first come, first served.
Game times will be available on the Town’s website (www.townofcary.org, search “USA Baseball”). The USA Baseball National Training Complex is located at 200 Brooks Park Lane.
