The Avett Brothers, a popular North Carolina group, will open for the Rolling Stones at Carter-Finley Stadium Wednesday, July 1.
Formed in 2001, The Avett Brothers have made mainstream waves and have rose to the status of genre stalwarts over the course of six albums, including acclaimed albums Emotionalism, The Carpenter and their lauded major label debut, I and Love and You (2009).
Zip Code is the Rolling Stones’ tour of 15 cities across the United States. The tour begins in San Diego May 24 and wraps up July 15 in Quebec.
Tickets for the concert remain available. Many of the available seats are in the lower part of the stadium, where tickets cost around $250 each.
