Durham police are investigating after a bicyclist was found dead in a ditch Sunday morning on Angier Avenue.

Officers responded to the 3300 block of Angier Avenue at approximately 6:15 a.m. after receiving a call about a bicyclist in a ditch, police said.

Upon arrival police found a dead male lying in the ditch. The victim has since been identified as Isidro Razo, 49, a construction worker who lived on the 3800 block of Angier Avenue.

Investigators found evidence that leads them to believe the suspect vehicle may be black.
