Family displaced after home gutted by fire in Fayetteville

A Fayetteville family of four was displaced after a fire Monday night destroyed their home, fire officials say.

Fayetteville Fire crews responded to a mobile home fire at 8:35 p.m. in the Cain Road Mobile Home Park, near Stamper Road, said Fayetteville Assistant Fire Chief Richard Bradshaw.

“First arriving units reported a double-wide mobile home with heavy fire conditions throughout the dwelling,” Bradshaw said.

“Firefighters were able to control the fire and perform a search of the dwelling with no victims located.”

The mobile home is a total loss from to the fire and displaced a family of four, Bradshaw said.

The American Red Cross has been requested to assist the family.

There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
