RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – Raleigh police said a 65-year-old woman was found dead Wednesday in a vehicle in a parking lot on Crosslink Road.
The call concerning the body was made by customers of the shopping center around 3:20 p.m., police said.
Raleigh police said the woman died due to “medically related factors.”
The identity of the woman was not released.
The black Mercedes was parked in a lot in front of the Food Lion at 1601 Crosslink Road.
Raleigh police detectives are on scene investigating the incident.
The body was removed around 5:30 p.m.
The Food Lion is still open while police investigate.
