Bob & the Showgram was off the air again on Thursday at G105.
On Wednesday, Bob & the Showgram posted on Facebook Wednesday that “we will not be on the air until further notice.”
The show asked for support at the hashtag, #WheresBob.
“Maybe if this gets trending they will fix the studio and let us come back,” the post said.
But whether the show is at risk or not is unknown. Even one Facebook poster called it “a publicity stunt.” And many users took to the WNCN Facebook page to say the issue is just a stunt.
Chris Edge, program director at G105, could not be reached immediately for comment Thursday morning.
The show going off the air could be related to technical issues that annoyed the radio team.
Also, earlier this week, the station received a letter condemning a segment on Caitlyn Jenner, the former Bruce Jenner.
“We demand a public apology for today’s program,” said the letter, from leaders of Equality NC and the LGBT Center of Raleigh.
“But a public apology to the transgender community is just the beginning.
The show is often edgy and used a “black Christmas fairy” hanging from a tow truck in the 2012 Raleigh Christmas parade.
