DENVER, N.C. — A North Carolina mother and wife, who was a postal worker, has died after her passing mail vehicle was crushed by a falling tree owned by a North Carolina congressman.
The 43-year-old female mail carrier died Saturday when the large tree fell on her U.S. Postal Service vehicle. Lincoln County sheriff’s deputies identified her as Lisa Rudisill Wilkerson of Sherrill’s Ford.

“In Loving memory .. Lisa Rudisill Wilkerson, please prayers for our family. I don’t know how I will get through this.. l (you) love baby girl,” her mom, Alene Henderson Rudisill, wrote on Facebook.
