CHARLESTON, S.C. (WNCN) – Charleston Police are investigating a video of an alleged interaction between one of its officers and a group of black children.

WCSC reported the Facebook video begins with children using graphic language towards a police officer who is driving by in his patrol car. At the end of the video, the officer appears to say, “Don’t go to church and get hurt,” before driving away, WCSC reported.

Witnesses said the video was record Monday.

Charleston Police spokesman Charles Francis told WCSC that police were aware of the video and were looking into it.
