WILMINGTON, NC (WNCN) — Officials have charged a Wilmington man with multiple sex offenses involving two girls between the ages of 13 and 15.
According to the Wilmington Police Department, Joshua Dustin Lutz, age 41, was arrested Tuesday, June 23, and charged with one count of statutory rape and one count of indecent liberties with a child.
Officials say Lutz bonded out Tuesday and was arrested again Thursday on two additional counts of statutory rape and one additional count of indecent liberties with a child.
WWAY-TV reported that the second arrest happened after another alleged victim came forward.
After his second arrest, Lutz was given a $1 million bond. WWAY-TV reported he is also facing a firearms charge.
On a Facebook page that appears to belong to Lutz, he says he is married.
Lutz also says he is an equipment operator at Marine Max and owner of a dryer vent cleaning company, according to Facebook.
