The Durham Police have filed charges against a man in connection with the June 26 murder of 37-year-old Anthony Tremaine Glenn near the intersection of Holloway Street and Raynor Street.
The suspect – Christopher Lee Allen, 18, of Durham – is not in custody at this time.
Officers responded to a possible traffic accident at 12:46 p.m. on June 26 on Raynor Street. When they arrived, they found Glenn, who had been shot. Glenn was located in the driver’s seat of a vehicle which struck a parked car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to investigators, the shooting apparently happened after an argument at the AutoZone in the 1700 block of Holloway Street. The incident did not appear to be random, Durham Police said.
Allen may be driving a 2004 royal blue Dodge Neon SXT with North Carolina plates.
