GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Greenville police say there will be no charges after an altercation on Monday evening.
Police responded to the scene of a reported assault at Tidewater Village Apartments off of Frontgate Drive.
Officers on the scene told WNCT that two women, both in their mid-60s were arguing. At some point, one woman hit the other in the head with a hammer.
Police say the injured woman had non-life threatening injuries.
Greenville police also confirm the two women involved were roommates.
The woman refused to press charges, so police closed the case.
