Man injured in Friday morning shooting in Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – A man was injured in a shooting Friday morning in Raleigh in the 3100 block of Crandon Lane, police said.

Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at 3112 Crandon Lane around 10: 10 a.m. Friday. When officer arrived, they found a man with what appeared to be non-life threatening gunshot wounds.

Police said the victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

A preliminary investigation has revealed that the shooting was not a random act.
