1 charged, 1 sought in shootout at Raleigh Burger King

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – Police are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a shootout Tuesday evening on Capital Boulevard in Raleigh.

Police said the incident happened around 5:10 p.m. Tuesday in the Burger King parking lot at Capital Boulevard and Old Trawick Road.

Authorities said two drivers, one in a white sedan and the other in a black SUV, fired shots at each other.

The driver of the SUV, Keithrick Wayne Vick, went to Duke Raleigh hospital with a gunshot wound. Police said Vick’s arm was grazed and he is expected to be OK.

Vick faces several charges, including discharging a firearm in city limits and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Police are investigating the case and continue to search for the driver of the white sedan.
