Minibus stolen from Durham Rescue Mission

This is the make and model of a similar minibus stolen from the Durham Rescue Mission.

DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) – The Durham Rescue Mission said that someone stole one of its minibuses early Friday morning.

According to the organization’s Facebook Page, the theft occurred around 4 a.m. Friday.

The Durham Rescue Mission said the bus is used to transport formerly homeless people to their jobs.

“This is an unusually difficult situation for us, because we already had limited transportation options. We really need to recover this vehicle ASAP!” the Facebook post states.

The bus is described as a white 1993 Ford mini bus with a license plate number EB7124.

Anyone with information is asked to the Durham Police Department.
