Raleigh man shot multiple times during home invasion

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – Raleigh police said a 27-year-old man sustained non-life threatening in a shooting incident during the course of a home invasion on Green Road Saturday morning.

Acquaintances brought Jonathan Edward Clay to Duke Hospital Raleigh with multiple gunshot wounds around 10 a.m. Saturday morning.

Clay was then transported to WakeMed for his injuries.

Raleigh police first believed Clay was injured in an incident in the area of Capital Boulevard and Calvary Drive.

But further investigation revealed Clay was injured during a home invasion at his apartment in the 4400 block of Green Road.
