WAKE FOREST, N.C. (WNCN) – A massive tree limb crushed a car and took out power lines in Wake Forest Friday morning.
The damaged car was parked and unoccupied at the time on Sycamore Avenue near Main Street.
Crews worked all Friday to clean up the damage and restore power to neighbors.
Power has since been restored, but Time Warner Cable crews remained at the scene late into the afternoon.
It iss unclear why that limb broke off.
South Main Street from Holding Avenue to Elm Avenue remained closed Friday afternoon.
