MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – MTV’s “Teen Mom 2” star has been arrested, again. Legal troubles continue for Jenelle Evans, who was arrested Thursday afternoon, according to police.
Lt. Raul Denis with the Horry County Police Department says officers were called to a home on Eagle Creek Drive in the Myrtle Beach area of Horry County for an assault around 2 p.m.
The victim, a 29-year-old woman, told officers she was at the home with her boyfriend helping him gather some of his belongings since he no longer lives in the house, when she was assaulted by her boyfriend’s former girlfriend.
The victim claims Evans threw a drinking glass at her head, causing injury. It was not immediately known if the victim required medical attention.
Officers arrested Evans, 23, of Myrtle Beach. She is charged with assault in the third degree and is being transported to the Horry County Detention Center where she will have a bond hearing, adds Denis.
