RALEIGH, NC (WNCN) — A missing Virginia teen who was possibly traveling through North Carolina has been found, officials say.
Heidi Lourdes Parks, age 16, of Salem, Va., disappeared on Friday and was thought to be on her way to South Carolina, officials told the Times-News in Cumberland, Va.
A missing poster said that Heidi was spotted on surveillance cameras at a Food Lion near Stafford, Va. on Saturday
The Times-News reported late Sunday morning that she was still missing.
However, Parks was found early Sunday evening, according to her parents.
Thanks to “Salem, Va. Police, Fredericksburg, Va. Sheriff’s Office and Cumberland County Police Department for all of their efforts,” her relatives wrote on Facebook.
