22-year-old wanted in connection with Durham shooting

DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) – Durham police are searching for a 22-year-old man wanted in connection with an Aug. 15 shooting on Fairview Street.

Daquan “Quan” Lamontae Lewis faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and felony conspiracy.

Durham police said a 35-year-old man was shot in the leg around 3:30 p.m. Aug. 15 in the 1000 block of Fairview Street.

The shots were fired from white car.
