Chapel Hill PD ask for public’s help to find robbery suspects

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WNCN) – Chapel Hill police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects wanted for questioning in a robbery that occurred in July.

The incident occurred July 20 in the parking deck of the Europa Center when the suspects grabbed the victim’s purse, dragged her several feet and then fled the area with the stolen purse, police said.

The suspects fled in a blue Ford F-150 and the victim’s credit cards were later used at Wal-Mart stores in Durham and Cary.

If anyone has information concerning the identity or whereabouts of this individual, please call Investigator Mineer at the Chapel Hill Police Department at 919-968-2760 or Crime Stoppers at 919-942-7515. Calls to Crime Stoppers are confidential and anonymous, and the caller may be eligible for a cash reward up to $2,000 for information that leads to arrest.
