DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) – The Durham County Courthouse reopened Monday after portions of the building were flooded Friday due to a water leak.

The Durham County Sheriff’s Office said the courthouse is open, but some areas of the building remain closed.

On Friday, a waterline break caused flooding at the courthouse, making the first, second and third floors “uninhabitable.”
