MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – A Myrtle Beach man’s trip to a sports bar to watch a football game, ended with him behind bars on accusations of sexual assault, according to police.
According to a Myrtle Beach Police incident report, Larry Milan Jacobs, 35, went to Pop’s Place with a friend to watch a football game on September 3. At half time of the game, Jacobs reportedly told his friend he was leaving the bar to go pick up his daughter.
When Jacobs left, rather than picking up his daughter, he drove to the home of the friend with whom he was just at the bar watching the football game, knowing the friend’s wife would be at the house, the report states. When the victim opened the door, she claims Jacobs said he “knows that she wants him.”
After a brief argument at the door, Jacobs is accused of pushing the victim into the house and into the laundry room. The victim reported to police that Jacobs assaulted her in the laundry room.
Jacobs is charged with one count of criminal sexual conduct third degree and one count of burglary first degree.
Jacobs is currently booked into J. Reuben Long Detention Center where he is being held on $30,000 bond for each charge.
