Triangle Red Cross to deploy to SC to provide flood assistance

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – The Triangle chapter of the American Red Cross will deploy Emergency Response Vehicles to Columbia, South Carolina Tuesday.

The ERV’s are scheduled to leave at 12 p.m. to head down to South Carolina’s capital to assist those needing help after historic rains drenched the city this past weekend.

The vehicles are utilized by disaster relief volunteers.
