CARY, NC (WNCN) — An SUV ended up in a Cary landmark on Saturday afternoon.
The incident happened just before 1 p.m. at Ashworth Drugs.
Police say the driver of an SUV struck a car and then lost control. It went right through the front of that pharmacy and luncheonette.
Fortunately, police confirm no one was injured and the store was able to stay open.
The owner of Ashworth Drugs had a good attitude.
“It could be worse and it can be fixed. And they didn’t get hurt. So that’s the way it goes,” said store owner Ralph Ashworth.
Ashworth says it’s the first time in his store’s 58 year history that something like this has happened.
