911 caller helps thwart Fayetteville break-in

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) – A 911 caller helped Cumberland County deputies catch two suspects who authorities said broke into a home and stole property.

Around 11 a.m. Monday, someone called 911 to report a break-in in progress in the 4900 block of Charger Court, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.

The caller said two suspects had loaded a television and other items in to a tan minivan and left the area.

Deputies pulled over a tan Toyota minivan on Highway 301 at Snowhill Church Road and took two people into custody.

Christopher Osborne and Cynthia Cafaro, both of Fayetteville, are charged with felony break and enter, felony larceny, felony possession of stolen property and felony conspiracy.

Osborne and Cafaro both received a $ 12,500 secure bond and are being held in the Cumberland County Jail, the sheriff’s office said.
