Rescue crews could be seen taking one person out of the home. Herman said that firefighters found the victim, a man, within five minutes. The man died shortly after.

Herman said that 25 firefighters responded to the scene and that there were no hydrants in the area and water was required to be brought in.

Although officials have not confirmed that cause of the fire, Herman said it’s important to remember to be cautious when it comes to heating your home.

“We are entering the cold season and we need to take extra precaution using heating sources,” he said.

The fire is under investigation.
