Washington man accused of prostituting dog in exchange for sex with farm animals

PHOENIX, Ariz. (WNCN) – Sheriff’s deputies in Washington say a man prostituted his dog in exchange for sex with farm animals, Tucson News Now reported.

James Allen Darland, 56 , of Mount Vernon, Washington, was arrested Monday, following a months-long investigation, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office told Tucson News Now.

The sheriff’s office said Darland is accused of contacting an undercover detective through online to have sex with various farm animals. The sheriff’s office began investigating Darland in September.

Tucson News Now reported that Darland asked a farmer to stay on his farm in order to have sex with the animals, including miniature horses, dogs and goat.

Darland admitted to the sheriff’s office in emails and phone calls that had been having sex with his neighbor’s horse, dogs and sheep.

Darland also revealed to authorities that had sex with customer’s animals and stray dogs while on delivery routes for his job, Tucson News Now reported.

Tucson News Now reported that Darland was arrested for conspiracy to commit bestiality. Tucson News Now said Darland’s dog will be evaluated for sexual abuse by the Arizona Human Society.
