CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WNCN) – North Carolina is suddenly a hot ticket in football.

On Friday, UNC announced the homecoming game against Duke on Saturday, Nov. 7, at Kenan Stadium is a sellout. The game will be at noon or 12:30, the school said.

The Tar Heels suffered from miserable attendance at some early games this season. But Carolina is now 7-1 after Thursday night’s big win at the University of Pittsburgh and interest in the team has spiked upward.

Duke plays at home Saturday night against the University of Miami.

Duke and Carolina have not been both ranked when they played since 1939.

Tickets for Carolina’s final home game of the season on Saturday, Nov. 14, vs. Miami are available.
