Missing NC teen found, told police she ran away from home

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) – A disabled teen from Greenville who had been missing since Tuesday was located Thursday night a safe and unharmed, WNCT reported Friday morning.

Margaret Lee Clayton, 19, was taken to Vidant Medial Center as a precaution, WNCT reported. Clayton was located be a family member in shrubs near the Chili’s restaurant on Evans Street.

Clayton told officers she ran away from, however police did not say why the teen ran away.
