Sexual assault reported at UNC residence hall

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WNCN) – Police at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill are investigating a report of a sexual assault that occurred at a residence hall Sunday morning.

The incident is said to have occurred shortly before 3 a.m. at UNC’s Hinton-James Residence Hall, according to an Alert Carolina! release.

The male suspect is described as 6 feet tall and weighing between 180-200 pounds. He is believed to have left the campus area.
