RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – The owner of Tir na nog announced the pub will close its doors Nov. 22 after 18 years of business.
“As the owner, I always felt that the pub belonged more to the community than it did to me. It was certainly a business venture but more importantly a gathering place for those in the area,” Pete Pagano said in a release.
Pagano said he wants to spend more time with his two children and wife.
He went on to say “a very exciting concept” was taking over the pub’s space.
He said the new business will complement Moore Square and Raleigh.
