RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – New information released in the August murder of a Raleigh teenager is shedding new light on the case.
Documents obtained by WNCN show at least two of the teens arrested in connection with the shooting death of Keyshawn Gregory, 13, admitted to being on scene or nearby when shots were fired back in August.
The warrants obtained show Jamal Howie, 19, admitted to being on scene and Jonathan Chavez, 18, admitted to being nearby. The documents also state police seized both their phones for possible evidence of their involvement in the crime.
Howie and Chavez both face accessory charges.
Malik Jones, 19, has also been charged in the case. Jones has been charged with one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder.
