Man wanted in Selma deadly shooting arrested in Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – The man wanted in connection with a deadly shooting in Selma in October was arrested in Raleigh Wednesday, court records show.

Robert Lewis Jackson, 27, was wanted on a first-degree murder charge in the death 29-year-old Marquel Cardell Williams.

Authorities say Williams was shot shortly before 10 a.m. on Oct. 12 at a public housing complex.

Jackson was arrested in the 6700 block of Rockglen Way in Raleigh Nov. 4.

Jackson is charged with first-degree murder as well as attempted first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a felon.
