WAKE COUNTY, N.C. (WNCN) – Highway Patrol is investigating a crash at N.C. 50 and Ten Ten Road in Wake County after a teen was critically injured.
Highway Patrol responded to a crash on N.C. 50 near Ten Ten Road around 6:35 a.m. Thursday.
Sgt. Michael Baker said a 2005 Nissan driven by 18-year-old Kasem Suheil Qassem, of Raleigh, was traveling south on N.C. 50 when he crossed the center line and hit a 2015 Chevrolet truck driven by 64-year-old David Ronald Hall, of Four Oaks.
Baker said both drivers were taken to WakeMed with injuries. Qassem is listed in critical condition and Hall suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash.
Baker said charges are pending.
