Roker coming to North Carolina, and WNCN’s Reh will be there

ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (WNCN) – Al Roker, the popular meteorologist for the Today Show, is in North Carolina Wednesday, and WNCN’s Bill Reh will be with him.

Roker will be in Elizabeth City Wednesday and Reh will be with him at the Elizabeth City Coast Guard Station.

Roker is the middle of his second Rokerthon and is looking to set a Guinness Book World Record for the doing a weathercast in all 50 states.

Reh, a veteran meteorologist with WNCN, also met Roker in 2007.

Last year, Roker did the weather for 34 straight hours.

This year, he wants to go across the country to support Feeding America, which feeds those in need across the nation.

On Wednesday, Roker is scheduled to be in eight states, including North Carolina.
