Cumberland Co. authorities investigating double shooting that killed 1, injured 1

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) – Cumberland County authorities are investigating a double shooting that left one man dead Thursday night in Hope Mills.

Cumberland County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a shooting at 4909 Madison Drive just after 8:45 p.m. Upon arrival, deputies discovered 25-year-old Joshua Gutierrez on the floor inside the mobile home. He was suffering from a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel.

Another victim, Keishanna Finch, was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center where she received treatment for a gunshot wound.

Authorities have not released any information on Finch’s condition.
