Animal Control seizes pets from NC home following hazmat situation, neighbors say

WILLOW SPRING, N.C. (WNCN) – Wake County Animal Control seized animals from a Willow Spring home Thursday following a hazmat situation.

Neighbors on Eddie Howard Road said a hazmat team was at the residence earlier Thursday due to high levels of ammonia in the home.

Animal Control seized six or seven animals that included dogs, cats and birds.

No other information was immediately available.
