Durham Police ID victim in Wednesday night fatal shooting

DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) – Durham Police have identified the man who was killed Wednesday night in a shooting.

Officials say a man died of a gunshot wound and was found by police shortly before 11 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Liberty Street and Peachtree Place.

The victim was identified as 32-year-old Sanna Manneh of Durham.

A man was found dead early Monday morning on Scout Drive in Durham. Police continue to investigate that case as a homicide.

This is the second homicide in a week in Durham.
