Man crawls for help after NC shooting on Thanksgiving Day

UPDATE: NC man dies after crawling for help in Thanksgiving Day shooting

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Emergency crews responded to a shooting in Greenville on Thursday.
It happened after 3:30 p.m. in the 1100 block West 6th Street near the intersection of McKinley Avenue.

Greenville Police told WNCT a 26-year-old male was shot and was taken to Vidant Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Police say he managed to crawl into a nearby yard and asked the person there to call for an ambulance.

Police on scene spent some time to interview those living nearby.
