CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – In the world of college football, the name Lane Kiffin is met one of two ways – happiness or extreme disdain. For the second group, Kiffin gave another reason Saturday after the Alabama – Auburn game.

Kiffin, currently the offensive coordinator at the University of Alabama, took an online shot at Auburn, and former star quarterback Cam Newton, after the game.

Alabama knocked off Auburn 29-13 on Saturday to win the Iron Bowl. The victory earns back-to-back wins against Auburn for the Crimson Tide and also clinched a trip to the SEC Championship game.

Kiffin posted a photo of his son, Knox, doing ‘the Dab’, a favorite dance move of Newton.

“Was awesome having Knox in Cam’s house. #Dab,” he wrote on Twitter. It was Kiffin’s first tweet for the entire football season.

Reaction to the tweet was mixed – some found it funny, others called it tasteless.

Newton was at the game on the Auburn sideline.
