Camp Lejeune Marine accused of exposing himself to students on schools buses

HOLLY RIDGE, N.C. (WECT) – A Camp Lejeune Marine is accused of exposing himself to students on school buses in Onslow County.

According to officials with the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office, several reports were received of a man following behind schools buses and exposing himself to students.

WITN reports that two incidents occurred on Monday and Tuesday to the same bus from Dixon High School.

Justin Michael Abbott, 28, of Holly Ridge, was arrested Friday and charged with three counts of felony indecent exposure and four counts of misdemeanor indecent exposure.

Officials say Abbott is a staff sergeant at Camp Lejeune.

He was booked in the Onslow County Jail under a $15,000 bond.

The sheriff’s office believes Abbott may have committed other offenses in the area.
