RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – Two people have been arrested for their role in a home invasion robbery that occurred at a hotel in Raleigh Sunday afternoon, police said.
Brian Keith Polimeda, 43, and Jamie Renee Little, 24, were arrested and charged with being accessories after the fact for driving a pickup truck used to drive the suspect away from the scene of the crime.
Police on Sunday afternoon converged on a dead-end street in south Raleigh during a search for an armed home invasion suspect who robbed people at a hotel earlier in the day, police said.
Shortly after 3:30 p.m., Raleigh Police Department officers responded to a reported home invasion robbery involving an armed suspect at a hotel at 2501 S. Saunders St.
The pickup truck involved in the crime was found around an hour later. Polimeda and Little were charged late Sunday night after follow-up investigations by police.
The robbery suspect has not yet been located. He was described by police as a man with a stocky build who stands about 5 feet 6 inches tall. He has some facial hair and was wearing a plaid shirt and a brown or tan jacket.
